i pass this same guy in the hall between two of my classes and sometimes i purposely try to avoid eye contact with him, for the sole purpose because we always make eye conact and i figured i would try not to. it seldom works. we are aquaintances but not close friends. how can i try to get to know him better?

Tell him it seems pretty wierd/funny to you that you guys keep making eye contact and never to talk to eachother,....he'll answer, then the conversation will continue....

come on! you know the answer to this question! this is wasted 5 points. you know that in order to get to now him better you have to talk to him. start saying hi and smiling instead of just making eye contact. everyday say a bigger phrase to him. "nice weather" "hwy how you doin'?" (that one is like a retorical question is just a form of saying hello) good luck.

...i have the same problem but in my case were like best friends...its worse that way...If i was you id just try to bump into him one day and say "Oh, i am so sorry i didnt see where i was going.." all flirty and all...that usually gets you talking..if that doesnt work try some chees pick up lines like..."I couldnt see where i was going cause your so hot..."
lol if that dont work...theres a lot of things out there you can do
