Yes, I mind very much. I don't want cancer and I don't want my clothes and hair smelling revolting.

Never been a smoker, doesn't bother me if people in pubs light up, its somethin u expect. What i do disagree with is when people light up whilst ur eating. that really ticks me off!! I do think it will make pubs and clubs a nicer place to be, i hate waking up in the morning and all u can smell is the smoke on ur clothes from the night before.

for a start,it's a moot point - it wont be happening from july
secondly, sod the non-smokers - they can go to a non smoking pub if it bothers them that much. what about the landlords who are going to lose millions of pounds of revenue because most of their customers are non-smokers? they're going to have to double the price of booze if they want to keep going, which wont impress the non-smokers who are left in pubs
and what about all the fights that start when there's loads of groups of people out on the street having a ***?
what about the deficit in taxes when people give up smoking - the non-smokers will be helping to pay for that
The government haven't thought through their actions AT ALL

Not at all, I used to smoke, but gave up. I think it will bother me more when the July ban comes in and there are crowds of drunk people having ciggarettes outside in the street every night. It's already like this in Ireland, and it's kinda scary walking past huge groups of p***ed up guys standing outside the pubs.

Yes, very much so. Especially inconsiderate smoker (thats virtually ALL smokers then) who dont take any notice where their smoke is going, who`s face it is blowing in and the feelings of others in the surrounding area.
I cannot wait for the ban to come in to force so my hair doesnt smell and i can come out of my local after having lunch on a sunday without coughing my guts up and feeling like i`ve snorted glass!!

Yes, I used to work in a pub, and let me tell you I hated the smell of my hair and my clothes at the end of the night. The new law is the best thing!!!

Yes. I don't mind people smoking coz that's entirely up to them but the fact that i'm forced to breathe it in when I go to a pub really annoys me. It's a poison and can lead to cancer so it should NOT be allowed in public places!!!!

I really really HATE being in the same room as people who are smoking - I'm so looking forward to the ban coming into effect in the UK, so that I can enjoy going to smoke free pubs .

well i don't go to pubs........but i think its disrespectful for a smoker to smoke around a non-smoker, i mean if you want to ruin your health you don't have to bring everyone else down with you.

I don't. I think if you can't stand the smoke, you should stay out of the kitchen
