I am in a drag show this weekend and I don't know what to wear. I could use some help so I don't have to make all the choices. I can come by just about anything in that time. Please give me good ideas soon so I can be prepared.

You should pick your wardrobe depending on your show. Is it just a drag show or a pageant? If it's your first drag show you should wear a sleek sexy sequin evening gown with a pair of 5" high heel pumps or sandals, plus your make-up, nails & hair need to be perfect. If it's a pageant, you need to pick casual wear, evening wear, swimsuit & something sexy too. Just go all out & be the girl of your dreams.

First, take a good, long and objective look at your own face/body style. Does anyone come to mind, and what will you have to do in order to more closely resemble that person? There are a lot of makeup tricks (I've done over 50 productions in theatre) but there is no makeup that can alter the shape of your face, the symetry of the eyes, nose and mouth or the size/shape of your body. Start as close to real as you can get by selecting someone to impersonate whom you actually resemble closely. Study the makeup they wear, and emulate it as closely as you are able. Study the clothing they commonly wear or something they are known for wearing, and do what you can to copy it. Trust me when I tell you that no one who has a face and body that resemble Mama Cass is ever going to be able to 'pull off' Cher, Madonna or Beyonce. Stick to someone you can resemble closely without having to undergo major surgery.

I think you should wear a nice miniskirt with pantyhose. then wear a piar of stockings over the hose. also a pair of heels, the higher the better. then wear a bra and a nice shirt tied at the bottom and a wig. make sure to wear a wig and also get your nails done.

Go for bright colors over the top make up and a dress that would make Rupaul drool. A long wig and heels....or whatever you want, it is your bod you are putting in it. Good luck...wish I could go.

What kind of drag? King or Queen lol you didn't give us any clue as to whether you are male or female so it is hard to know what kind of drag you are going to do :)
