Working out before you get pregnant and once you are pregnant is a great idea. Just once your pregnant don't over do it. Your body will conceive better if you are healthy. And when it comes to delivery time, your body needs to be able to have the strength to push the baby out. So exercises will only help give your body stamina and strengthen the muscles it has to use when it comes to delivery time. It also helps with post-partum after the baby is born. And eating right, Breast feeding, and exercising are great ways to get that body back into shape after baby is born.

Some exercising is a no-no when you are pregnant. Your doctor can tell you what is safe and what is not. Walking is usually the standard answer. If you have been working out for some time, it's easier to work out during pregnancy than if you get pregnant and suddenly decide you need a workout routine.

Absolutely!
Pretty much all exercises and work outs are safe while pregnant (there are exceptions however..if you want a list, I'm sure you're doctor will be happy to give it to you).
Walking, yoga, a gentle jog on a treadmill, and even kickboxing are all safe while pregnant. Congrats on the pregnancy :-)

If you have been doing it, it should be fine. I'm not big on working out, but i like a nice long walk. My sister in law ran a marathon (yes, RAN the 26 miles) when she was 3 months pregnant.. Only do what feels good to you.. :)

Yes, you can keep working out, but you can't do any strenuous exercises. Try watching pregnancy exercise videos.

i swam, did pilates & ran and lifted small weights. i dont know if you can work out as vigorously as you may normally, but exercise is great while you are pg. of course, check with your doctor to double check. best of luck with the pregnancy!

you sure can, i was told by my Midwife to keep my pulse rate below 140 so my temp doesn't get too high, but I have found that I can get a great workout within those limits.
