The lyrics refer to rumours that can spoil your night ("never thought I'd let a rumor ruin my moonlight"). In this case, it's concerning a girl that has a new boyfriend who looks like a girlfriend the narrator had last year.
Lead singer Brandon Flowers refers to this song as "Our most Vegas influenced song on the album. Sin city, the strip. It's where I grew up and of course it affects the songs I write. This song has a lot of sexual energy".

I'm assuming you mean the song from The Killers.
Whatever the song is, nobody is going to be able to tell you what an artist meant by the lyrics in their songs.
Best to check out the band's website and see if you can find that info from the person who wrote it.
