my brother plays runescape.... and he gets bored of it sometimes.... does anyone know a game like runescape?

I dont think your brother will want to go from Runescape to a Penguin RPG game, so ff your brother buys Diablo 2 he may have fun with that, its sort of like Runescape only more elaborate... and somewhat more repetitive, but can be very addicting. If you go to http://maidmarian.com/ you can find an RPG called Sherwood, its not really elaborate, but its fun when your bored. Theres a lot of fun Free Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Games
(MMORPG) type games at http://www.free-games.com.au/Free_Online_Multiplayer_Games/ If your brother has an Xbox and Xbox Live, he would probably like Phantasy Star Online & Phantasy Star Universe. In this game you go through 3D towns with other people and have quests and adventures, you can also earn money by actually choosing a profession, like being a Barber or a Cook. Its a bit more elaborate and graphical then 3D plus you get Microphone Headset instead of trying to type things out. Lmfao, oh and you can get Diablo 2: Expansion Set at places like Target, Best Buy or EB Games I guess... Oh and along with Diablo 2 he should try World of Warcraft, its like 4 times better than Runescape and the world is like 5 times larger, and its 3D, but you have to pay a little more than runescape membership to play.

I've hated RPGs for 1 year now. But, the most recent game I've played other than Runescape would be Maplestory. It plays just like RS, except its a bit harder to rank up. But, there are quests and other stuff, so its a pretty good game.
But, the game I would suggest but would cost money other than MS, would be World of Warcraft. Though it is expensive, it can still be enjoyable.

RuneScape is unique in its gameplay, so there is no game that is truly like RuneScape. However, there are several other RPGs out there.
The RPGs I have heard include World of Warcraft, Dragon Fable, Adventure Quest, and Larkinor.

A good game thats somewhat like runescape would be MapleStory, monsters to kill,quests to complete,lots of people to talk to, and SOOOO many items

this is kinda like runescape but less graphic...he can play free or be a guardian(member in runescape) for 1 payment of 19.95 US money and they take paypal
