pull it into shape when wet and lay it flat to dry

You could try hanging it while wet, but it won't be even. The stitches will have big gaps in some places and look sloppy. The silk threads will break after a couple of times. Why not just find a long shirt that will hang down underneath?

Get the sweater wet then start pulling.

get someone who is bigger than you to wear it when it is wet. They must keep pulling at it, fussing over it and generally make sure that it does not creep back into the smaller size. have fun.

Have you and friend put it on together -

1. It will be fun, if you catch my drift

2. It'll stretch the sweater.

win-win

what ever you do, DO NOT wash it in hot water, hot water will shrink it...
