A friend of mine had really good results from all natural Menopause Balance Complex. It uses compounds in plants to ease mood swings, sleeplessness and hot flashes associated with menopause. She took it especially for the mood swings and her daughters could always tell if she ran out of it. I know you said you didn't think it's menopause but it could be a premenopause symptom.

Also, all natural B-Complex ("mood vitamin") can be very effective. The B vitamins feed the nerves and have a profound effect on mental and emotional stability. Stress, medications, sugar, alcohol, and caffeine all rob the body of B vitamins. The B-Complex I take has a patented folic acid coating for better absorption. A deficiency can cause nervousnes and irritability.

Hope this is useful and feel free to contact me with questions.

These are some things that have helped my daughter considerably:

1) Omega-3 Fish Oil capsules (you can get them coated so there's no aftertaste). My daughter takes 2 a day
2) Evening Primrose Oil capsules (my daughter takes 2 of these a day - 1000 mg. each)
3) Get an Aqua Detox done at a local spa. Cost is about $40, but worth it. It is essentially a special foot bath that helps the body detox and "balances" everything. It is suggested to do it weekly for about 4 weeks, then monthly.
4) Try essential oils - - - ask at the spa you go to which will work for hormone imbalance. Good luck!!!

Calcium, magnesium, B vitamins, Omega 3 fatty acids and buy natural, topical progesterone cream from your local health food store.

Try Estroven it works really good for mood swings and balancing hormones. It's not just for menopause. I took it and I'm 25. It really takes the edge off.

Also all the B's are energy and mood elevators.. in my experience. Sam-E is supposed to be good as well.
