I just got a positive result with my ovulation predictor - what is the time window for conception? Also - what is the percentage chance I will get pregnant?

You only ever have a 20% chance of getting pregnant ANY month, and you probably only have 1-2 days (maybe a little more). Your egg is only going to stay "alive" for 24-48 hours once it has been released. So get trying!! Also, if you have sex before ovulation (2-4 days) it works a little better.. sperm can live up to 5-7 days in your vagina/ uterus. GOOD LUCK and don't worry so much, try starting to conceive about a week to a week and half after your period, every other day or so.. (sperm growth is around 48 hours to replenish).. And sorry its a little graphic :)

I'm not sure as far as percentage wise your chances of conceiving, but you have a 24-48 hour window to conceive once ovulation begins. Your chances of becoming pregnant if you have intercourse in the next 24-48 hours are good. Best of luck!

I think that all OPK's are different but I use the answer brand and it says that once you get the positive you should have sex in the next 24-48 hours. Most information shows that your most fertile times are 24-48 hours before ovualtion and up to 24 hours after. Good Luck!

I think the window of opportunity is 48- 72 hours. I think it would be around a 75% chance of becoming pregnant.

Now you want to have sex as many times as possible within the next 12 to 36 hours. After that and it will be too late. Don't forget that when you have sex, tilt your pelvis up when you husband orgasms, it will help it go in deeper.
