RFLOL, this is a hysterical question no matter how you look at it.
If you posted it to get a rise out of females everywhere and progressive men will respond also. So it's funny in an immature sophomoric sort of way that you posted the question. Because it's challenging conventional norms in society which is what kids like to do. It's not something they actually believe, they just disagree for the fun of it. You see a lot of intentional posts of a racist or bigoted nature on Yahoo answers meant to prank others.
If you really believe the question you posted it's even more hilarious to think that someone so ignorant really exists today. Well, people with that mentality do exist in society usually calling themselves conservative Christians but even they quietly acknowledge that women have more value than once was thought. And the others who have that mentality rarely participate in yahoo answers. They spend all their online time reading the skin head, Nazi, and KKK sites and newsletters or blogging their rage against women.
I suspect the latter is the true reason for the post so thanks for the good laugh and the two points!! Happy pranking!!

The center of most happy homes is the kitchen, and when I visit my sister or mother that is where everybody seems to congregate, NOT just us women folk. My dad is an excellent cook as well as my mom, and we all have so much to talk about that is where we seem to end up. Everyone helps.
At home, my three sons each have a job associated with dinner.
May not work for all, but it works for us
You interest me in that I did some research on your subject and I am still not sure if it is for fun or for real.

Okay, now this is a question I will give you credit for because you are right in this aspect.
When I do visit relatives, yes, I do go and help clean up after a meal or even just a snack. My grandmother did teach me to be proper in this manner. All of us ladies gather the dishes and what not, and get things cleaned up while the men go sit down and relax.

Of course! If someone is so kind as to let me stay at their home, then the least I can do is help out in the kitchen. Besides, its whats expected of me in my family, anyways. Also, me socializing with MEN? The horror!

My place is in the kitchen because no one else knows how to do anything there...I help out because I am a good guest, it's not my duty!!!
My money is on that you are a lonely, single guy or the biggest BS artist around...am I right?

Well of course, it has nothing to do with knowing my place, it's a matter of breeding and decent values. My parents raised me right and when I am staying with relatives or friends, my good breeding shows through.

I would offer to help clean up
but not to help cook
to me that would be offensive....
like saying 'your cooking sucks and you need some help'
at least my relatives would take offense if I tried to help them in the kitchen (with the cooking)

Yes I help because I care for the people I visit and it is just common courtesy. I also do this in my own home. But as it being my role I do it because I choose to not because its my job.
