My brother has joined the masons, he was to do a speech and was quite worked up about it, he was going on ,and on, we had a wee tiff so i left him this note on his big day.

What do you think of it, meant to say my dad is a mason also he saw the funny side my bruv said it was disgusting to dis them !!!

Use the All Seeing Eye the answer will come.....

How about north, south, east, west, all us Masons are the best at having an excuse for a monthly PISS UP !!!!!!!!

In my fathers house there are many mansions, thats where the celeb masons live we shall not name, names.......

Oh and wear combat trouser, that way you can already have one leg rolled up, this will save you time , and always always cover your work .........!!!!!!!

Good luck brother!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, I think it was pretty funny! the only part I can see where he might have taken it the wrong way is the part about having an excuse for a monthly PISS UP. He probably thinks that this is your opinion of the organization and has taken offence to it. However, being a Mason myself and knowing many if them, I know that any time a group of guys get together, whether it be to watch a football match, meet in a pub, or go to a Masonic meeting, there will always be those who overindulge in drink.

As for the line about mansions and names, I really don't understand what you are saying.

The one leg rolled up part was quite witty. I had a good laugh. I think your brother just needs to relax. As long as you tell him that you have respect for what he does, he should be ok.

I am a recovered Mason. The problem with the organization that I rebelled against was the requirement that one believe in a divinity. Once I becamed enlightened to the fact that there is no God, I had to quit. As to the rest of the stuff they do, it is a club. No overthrowing governmnet, no insidious plots or plans. The give charity, do good work, and have meetings with little boy rituals that can be read about by anybody that can use google.

The rolled up pantleg is merely a symbolic representation of taking a pledge on naked bended knee, neither naked nor clothed... (wearing a symbolic mason work coverall)

The requirement of a belief in God finally made me realize I could not any longer take the oaths seriously. Sort of like when I mailed in my Eagle scout badge, because of the intolerant point of view of the Boy Scouts against gays. I'm not gay, and the righteous point of view of Boy Scouts who also must 'believe in god' is not for me.

I may start another organization for atheists who are also interested in camping, crafts, boating, nature etc., but don't subscribe to the concept of a deity.

The ‘Free Masons’ is a very honorable group of extremely distinguished men. They believe in. “The fatherhood of God, the brotherhood of man and charity.
You should be proud to belong to a family of Free Masons. I do not understand the tripe you have written or its purpose but to be honest it is in very poor taste. Let me take this opportunity to Congratulate your brother on his being initiated into Free Masonry.

The masons are a cult. Kind of hard to be a member and expect to see the Father.

i'd say that's dammmm clever, if i understood more than 20% of what you're saying.
" trouser leg rolled up" esp. intrigues, yet puzzles me.
