In my opinion boys should not get their ears pierced till they are over 18. piercing your ears does not hurt. But I don't think the parents of little boys should do that. As they get older they look like miniature gang bangers. Boys ages 10-30 automatically look like gangbangers with their ears pierced even if they are not. They will only get made fun of at school besides in our schools in Illinois boys are NOT ALLOWED to wear any type of earring. Earring look cuter on girls anyway.

I think yes it's crazy! There is no need for a little boy to have an earring. When he's of age, then he can decide on tattoos and earrings but, 3 months? C'mon there is no reason for that! I dont even think baby girls should have their ears pierced but, I think it's to totally different situations. It's just nuts!

Want to hear absurd? A friend of mine took her infant to get her ears pierced, with no problem. When she tried to get her own ears pierced, she was denied, because she didn't have a note from her parents. She was only 17.

You know what I gor my son ear pierce when he was 6 months old. Ans he isn't gay. You can't make a person gay by getting his ear pierce. No he never notice that he got his ear pierce. It's up to that parent. You can say that i am a bad parents but I don't give a ****. My son loves that his ear is pierce and wants another hole and his father and I will let him have one.

i dont think you should get any baby's ears pierced.

and little boys with pierced ears just look strange, like little gang bangers. dont force "self" mutilation on the poor babies just because you "can"

I love you closed minded ppl on yahoo answers!!!! It is no form of child abuse, and its so much better to get it done with their young. And just so all of you can cringe... i am 14 weeks pregnant, and i am hoping for a boy, and YES both of his ears WILL be pierced. Not to abuse my child, but to show the world that hes my baby and we can do whatever we want.....

I think it is absurd with either a girl or a boy, until they are old enough to choose themselves.

YES. Boys need to wait til they are old enough to say that they want it done!! You want that kid to be made fun of?? He ain't youer little baby doll that you can dress up to make you look cool. Girls are different though. Girls are supposed to wear earrings and the younger they get done, the better because then they won't remember how bad it hurt. Got mine when I was like 3 weeks.
