when you get there you fill out soome papers, then a nurse will ask you if you are sexuallyactive, shell check yr weight, pulse and things like that. when you get into the room you will have to take off yr clothes and sit on the table with yr feet on the stirups. when the doctor comes in she will ask you to lay back and relax then she will iinsert two finger and push and wiht the other hand push on yr lower abdomen, this is to check for any lumps in yr uterus, then she will get this little brush looking thing and insert it and brush off some cells from the back of yr cervix, this will be tested for cervical cancer later, that is it.
she will prescribe you birth control and then you leave.
it is a little uncomfortable, but not too much. you will be able to handle it. she/he is a doctor and they are strictly professional. and if you have any questions about what they are doing just ask. the doctor knows that you are a first time visitor. they will be happy to explain it to you. it wont hurt. all you have to do is relax

Nothing hurts hun, but it can be uncomfortable. They usually begin with all of the little things that any doctor does: blood pressure, weight, height, breathing, check in your ears, reflexes etc. They will then have you undress and wear a gown. They will press around your breasts to check for lumps. Next they do a vaginal exam. My doctor begins with a pap test which basicall inserts an instrument to widen the vagina so they can see your cervix. then they insert a long brush-tool which brushes some cervical cells from your cervix. this sample is sent out for tests for abnormalities. Next the doctor will insert 2 fingers into your vagina to feel the size, placement and for any abnormalities of your uterus. The doc will the let you clean up and dress and will probably end by ensuring that you have no more questions etc. this is also a good opportunity to have yourself tested for any STD's you may be concerned about. OH! and be prepared to answer some personal questions about your sexual health and practices. Make a mental note of when your last period was etc, the doc will want to know this information. good luck!

Since it sounds like your first time, they will ask you a lot of questions that are personal such as how many partners and things like that. Make sure you don't lie to them about anything.
Then they will check your temperature and stuff like that.
You then get placed in a room and the nurse tells you to undress and get in a gown.
The gyno. comes in next and she feels your breasts.
Then she sticks a widening tool in your vagina. It doesn't hurt.
None of this does. It may be a little cold and uncomfortable though.
I thought I'd be really weirded out by her seeing my naked and those parts, but she was professional. If you don't want to have a guy doctor ask for a girl one .

It's not the most comfortable thing in the world, but it is one of the necessities of the world for us women. Basically a gynecolgist checks to see that everything in your vaginal area is healthy, that there are no discharges. The doctor will take a small snip, which may hurt a tiny bit to check for a PAP smear, this is to check that you don't have ovarian cancer. Also the doctor will do a minor check of your breasts to make sure they are ok, but will send you off for a mammogram. It's a must do visit.

You lay on the table naked with a towel over you. The doctor will feel your Brest and also do a check up down below. They will talk you through it and let you know what they are about to do. It is a very short procedure and if the doctor is good you don't really feel anything.
