The domain of any function or equation is the set of all x values that you are allowed to use. For example, if you have y = 1/x, you can't use 0 since you're not allowed to have a fraction with a 0 denominator. In this case, your domain would be all real numbers except 0.

In your equation, there isn't anything that isn't allowed - x can be anything and you wouldn't be violating any math rules. So your answer would be all real numbers, (a).
