did he actually go back home and in time or did he just see his life flash before his eyes while still on the island? or something else? and why did he end up running through the jungle naked? and is charlie definitely going to die or do you think desmond will save him again?

Good question. Lost made it seem as though Desmond did go back in time and started to remember things of the island.It also explained why Desmond was able to save claire. He got the same powers as that white haired woman. They still havent really explained why he ran through the woods naked. Haha im still lost on that one. I think charlie is actually goin to die because i dont think Desmond can save him everytime. I would like charlie to live but it just doesnt seem possible. As a huge fan of Lost myself, i understand your confusion but just wait im pretty sure the answers are coming soon.

I think he traveled back through time, but it seemed open to interpretation. It gies a bit of explanation about his ability to see the future now. I don't know why he ended up being naked other than the force of the explosion burning or blowing off his clothes. As for Charlie, I certainly HOPE he doesn't die as he is often my favorite character, but if he does I am sure it will be in some heroic way. I think after Dominic Monoaghan's (I know that is misspelled) fame from The Lord of the Rings, though, that he will be sticking around for a while. Plus, in Locke's dream earlier this season, Boone told him that Claire and Charlie were both safe for now. In island time, that probably only happened like three days ago, so they should both still be safe.

He went back in time. Think charlie is gonna die. Penny is looking for Desmond isn't she? I quite liked Desmond running naked like a wild man!

I know what you mean. I think the creators of the show are running out of ideas and getting sloppy. The show started out so good but the bastards at ABC got greedy and kept dragging it out.
I think the best thing to do is just wait for the last episode and watch it, I think i will.

i'm from u.s. and that's the episode we final observed besides. we are no longer some episodes in the previous you...the recent ones basically run some days in the previous yours do. we are going to have a sparkling one in this night. So examine back day after today to get spoliers.

Can I suggest instead of getting confused you just stop watching it. I watched the first 2 series and am now happy to say that I am free of it's clutches. They are clearing making it up as they go along and if you watch it until the end (whenever that is) it will be undoubtedly the most disappointing climax since Anna Nicole Smith's wedding night.
