There's so many things that Jordan can do that Kobe can not. First of all Kobe is NOT Jordan... That's obvious but also Kobe and Jordan have different styles of playing... Kobe is more flash then Jordan's fundamentals and down to earth playing... But let's be real here cause I could write a book on what jordan can do but kobe can't... Jordan will always be one of the best if not THE best because of what he has accomplished already... Kobe is merely following what Jordan has already done...

Carry an entire team on his back, kobe needs a little more help than michael, michael, like magic, made all the player around him much better, i don't quite see that with kobe. Translation, more Championships for Jordan.....

As of now nothing, when Jordan was in his prime, a lot. Kobe cant dunk from the free throw line, he cant play defense like Jordan, and he cant carry a team like Jordan. Im pretty sure Jordan was a better shooter from outside the arch as well. Kobe cant sell himself as well as Jordan did either.

Two major things:
1. Earn the respect of his peers (as well as pretty much everyone else on the planet).
2. Largely due to #1, Jordan got his team to play their hearts out night in, night out - Kobe doesn't do this for his team.

at the time Jordan was considered the best Defender at his postion. He was also more of a leaderon and off the court. He also didnt allow himself to get caught up in squabbles with team mates or of the court issues like a rape case. The most that jordan did wrong was light a torch up under his teamates and Gamble. Hell Kobe cant even play baseball better than jordan. O the most important was his coming thru in the clutch. getting to the line when it mattered most, putting the opposing teams best player in foul trouble.
