I Have 3 new dwarf hamsters(that are all guys) and there livin tgether great. But I'm scared that if one of them finds a way out f the cage, he will tell the others and then i'll have to find 3 dwarfs instead of 1. Right now they are living in a Critter Trail 2 level and im scared they are going to escape.Any ideas of how make sure they dont escape?

Critter Trail makes a very good cage, so if it is put together properly, you shouldn't have to worry about them escaping.

I hope their all about the same age or you may be in for some trouble down the road. My son's Russian dwarf males were kept together with their father. We never removed him from the cage with all the babies until they were 4 weeks when we put him in a cage with males only of his. Things were fine for about three months, the we came home to him dead and his white haired son cover in blood, the other son was cowered in the corner. So I now first hand of what can happen with younger and older dwarfs being put together. We've even had territory fights between brothers (none died those times). You may want to consider getting add ons for them to the cage. This may help discourage fighting over territories if each has their own area.

Ideas for a more secure cage, put a small lock on the door make sure to keep it locked. You can put tape around the connection areas, but this is messy when you take them apart for cleaning. We got rid of all our Critter Trail cages and bought non tubed wire cages by Super Pet. No escapes since using them and they come in single, double and triple sizes, plus have many other fancier designs. We recommend to people with dwarfs to have one level/story for each hamster. Now our Syrians are kept in either 2 or 3 level cages, singles aren't big enough for them to move around in freely. Here's the site where I bought mine through and best is free shipping.

the best thing would be a glass tank with a mesh wire lid. if im not mistaken, crittertrails are able to be hooked to tubes, which can either be chewed through, or break off, (that's how my hamster escaped). however on a 10 gal. tank you can see them better, and they can't get out with a lid, and it doesn't hook up to tubes. you can still put tubes in there though. tanks are easier to clean, and since there are no wires, they don't kick their bedding out :), and my gerbils love their tank!
good luck with your new hamsters!!

You can use a rubber-band from the door to the cage soo then if they push on it they can't get out.Or you can go to get a new cage but they are expencive soo if i was you I wouldn't do that.
