I've been using NUVAring for just a week now. I love that I dont have to remember it each day and I cant feel it and all (neither can my partner). BUt today I have been feeling kind of nauseous (no possible way i'm pregnant). I know that nausea is a potential side effect but I not exerienced this while on the pill nor up until today with the ring. Has anyone had problems with nausea and Nuvaring?

There is absolutely a chance that I may be getting a bug or something, it is just my only symptom and thought first of the ring. I did find something online that said the ring can cause nausea during initial use but that it usually clears up in a few days. I guess I was just interested in the experiences of others.

No, I haven't personally experienced it... but I'm also only on my first week on the thing:) According to my doc, nausea is less likely with the ring than with the pill, but I haven't found any independent confirmation of that online, so take that with a grain of salt.

Any chance you may have some stomach bug?

I only had a infant 5 months in the past and desperate to apply the ring as my start administration approach. I had a small little bit of nausea for the 1st 2 days then it went away all jointly. I do regardless of the fact that have a undesirable subject with vaginal secretions. I could positioned on lite day sanitary pads daily. sessions are very lite and only approximately no longer even there, however the release is bothering me. no longer something incorrect nevertheless.

Yeah, I had the same thing and I had to go back to medicine that would not make me throw up. It really sucks, because it seemed like a good way to go. Your doctor might ask you to try it for a few more weeks, but I experienced a lot of nausea...
