My cats always snore, it's not a real problem. If your cat had asthma it would be wheezing when it is awake. I had a cat with asthma and it was really obvious that there was a problem, the poor thing had a real problem breathing. It wasn't just a snoring problem. It was so obvious that he had to be rushed to the vet.

My male cat snores too, about 20-30% of the time. But then, that's when he's laying next to me. He might snore other times as well. If your cat is healthy otherwise, no sneezing, no nasal discharge, then I'd just wait until you take it for it's yearly check up or shots to ask the vet.

Some cats do snore. But if she has any other respiratory symptoms, I'd have her checked out by a vet.
