You have to let him have his space. I had a guy friend for almost 15 yrs and then he made the decision to sever the relationship. It was very painful. I wrote to him one last time to please communicate w/me and let me know if I hurt his feelings, etc. He never responded. I have a clear conscience that I attempted to repair whatever was wrong. You can't force yourself on anyone. Also, my friend later "came out" of the closet & I think that he might have felt I'd judge him. I feel sad that he did not trust me enough to share that---but that was his choice. Some come in to our lives for a little bit of time & we learn something from them and they move on. I will always have fond memories of my friendship w/him & am greatful for his presence in my life at one time.

Well that is definitely a weird situation. I had a guy friend do that to me once. It turned out he had a crush on me and just didn’t feel comfortable just being my friend anymore while I had a boyfriend. Perhaps there may have been a misunderstanding between the two of you or he may be going through a rough patch, if that’s the case you need to be there for him even if he is trying to stay away from you. After all you still want his friendship.

People change; it's a fact of life.
He may have a girlfriend that he hasn't told you about. Maybe he's changed, maybe you have.
Just call they guy and tell him how you feel. The worst that can happen is that he doesn't respond...which is what is happening already.
Then again, he may not realize what he is doing....

he saw how you were just "Friends"? He fell in Love with someone? Who may not be able to understand your relationship with him. So he wants to let this New Girl, see who he really is. Sorry, Dear. I hope you find some happiness.

More than likely he 's got a girl now and she doesn't want him to have any girl friends. This happens a lot.
