I was just at the dentist and there was this young lady (@ 25) she had 4 kids, the youngest was 3, she was so obnoxious. She was calling her mom an idiot, hitting her in the face with a barbie doll, slapping her, and tellilng her mom and brothers she was going to kill them. I was waiting with my client for 2 hours to be seen. By the time I walked out I had a major headache. Everyone was annoyed. This girl screamed the whole time. Would you have politely said somthing to her mother? The mother just laughed it off.

It's annoying to witness such situation but I can't go further than just observe because the girl has her own mum and the mum doesn't even pay attention to the child's attitude. Maybe making comments could add more to a serious situation. Parenting is what needed for the mother. She needs help on how to discipline her child.

When my daughter had to have braces checked every week, I had to sit in the car!! The dentist that shared the same office was for children!! No way could I even stay and I came in to write the check as fast as possible.
I tried saying something to a mother in a landscaping place though and she started screaming at me about her husband dying and did I want to pay all her bills!!!! Then she told me what she thought of ME!! Whoah!! @8-) Peace.

I am not very good w/kids like that. Two hours?...about the first hour I would of spoken to the receptionist and then about 10 more minutes I may have said something like "did you bring a cage for that thing?" like I said I don't go well w/kids like that. Of course it is the mothers fault she needs nanny 911.

This will be the mother that lets her kids eat fast food everyday and eventually sues the industry for her children being obese. No backbone no control. I don't know what I would say. Her technique of raising her kids is not my business, however by letting her child behave that way publicly, she has involved you and everyone else in the room.

i feel bad enough for that mother already. she obviously cant control her own kids. now, i dont have kids so i shouldn't really be talking, but i think that mother laughed it off to hide how embarrassed she was.

if the mother was annoyed, then don't tell her anything, just pray for her.if she was taking it easy and laughing, not eaven trying to let her stop or tell her that what she was doing was wrong and was annoying everybody, then u completely have the right to tell her to stop, may be her mom will tell her then, but i doubt it.,

I wouldnt have said anything, I would have talked loud enough to other people so she could hear though... "Some people need to learn who is in charge!"

yes I would have said something. Sometimes other people need to. If other people are being bothered then someone should speak up!
