freedom of speach dosent mean ignorant bombastic speach, though you are free to use such a method. i prefere a polite democracy where you can say anything and disagree with anybody you like, in a polite fashion, just like your question is polite.

I'm not easily offended. And yes, we really have the right to free speech, no matter what the Politically Correct Faction has to say. Although I would never intentionally hurt someone elses feelings, I don't bend over backwards in order not to. As far as I'm concerned, the PCF can go sit on a tack!

Stick and stone may break my bones
but words will never hurt me.

Psychiatry teaches that words offend people. Hurt peoples' feelings.

The Lord teaches do not offend and do not take offense at what someone says evil about you. Pray for those that spitefully use you. So if you call me a dirt-bag, I'll pray for you and forgive you for saying it. Jesus teaches that He was hated and we will be hated for His namesake.

These so-called "offended" people are playing a game trying to get free speech and Christianity out of America. They've done it in other countries and now they want to change America.

i don't think there is such a thing as social equality; and i believe it is impossible we will always have a ruling class and a lower class. this is even represented in nature where you have leaders of packs, or stronger animals killing others - it appears to be a law within the universe beyond human control. Has for freedom of speech i don't believe it is right to slander or belittle people because of race, gender, disabilities, class - what ever makes people 'different' but i do believe we should be allowed an opinion - which i think we are. what offends me? pretentious people and lies - a little pet hate of mine x

Yes we have free speech. However, the more offended people get and start screaming, the more laws will be made until free speech is dwindled down into nothingness.

Life is offensive, people need to get over themselves.

If I am offended at something you say, does that mean I am denying your freedom of speech?

. . . . . . . or just expressing my own?

"Freedom of speech goes both ways."
