I think that you should tell him. But ask him to keep it confidential. Don't drop it....it will probably continue.Tell him what is happening.
And most of all how it makes you feel. Ask him if she usually acts that way to other people...or if she was mad about something that happened even if you were related to the problem or not. She might have been upset about something else...who knows!!!!!! But still...bring up the problem to your husband that his cousin was not really happy towards you that weekend..and that she was in a very bad mood. Ask him if he has any input from past experiences. Good Luck!

Even though that is ure husband's cousin I would still put her in check! She does not have the right to treat you that way and you should tell him how you feel about her, dont make it a big deal but dont hide it from him either. Just tell them both especially her

Ask your self this question and answer it honestly: Will this problem still be a problem in 6 weeks from now, 6 months from now, 6 years from now? If not, then let it go. If so, then say something, but in a mature and adult way. You want to resolve the problem, not make it worse remember! Good luck and try to figure out if YOU can get over this on your own!
Everyone can give you their opinions or how they would react, but this is about your feelings and your reaction. Good luck and I hope it works out!

I would just talk to the cousin. You can email her or call her or whatever you want, and tell her that you felt that she was being rude to you and you didn't appreciate it. Unless she is a child, in which case you should deal with her parents, it is between you and her. Your husband is not responsible for her actions. However, it might make you feel better to talk to him about it. He might be able to help you word what you want to say.

Usually people who behave in this manner think that they are so much smarter than everyone else, that they are actually pulling one over on the person they are attempting to insult. If she does it again, in front of everyone present, respond with, "Apparently I've done something to offend you. I wish you would let me know what it is so that we can mend fences." That will let everyone see that you are attempting to make peace and puts the onus on her.
If she continues to behave in this manner, follow up with, "I'm sorry. Did you mean for that to come out rude, mean, and condescending or do you just not realize that you speak that way?" Usually that will stop people from doing this once they know they've been caught and that you will no longer tolerate this type of behavior. Good luck.

You have to tell him.If you dont it will always upset you when ever he comes around.Let your husband deal with him but tell him if he dose not,and he comes over again and is rude you will deal with it.And he may not like the way you do.Or he will have to visit his cousin some were esle.Because on body has a right to be rude to you exspecially in your own home.

sooner or later you're going to spill the beans, after all you are spilling them all over the world wide web right now aren't you?
So why put off the inevietable? You need to share your feelins - pronto! then lay down the law that that no good so and so is never welcomed in your home again. If your hubby doesn't agree, cut off the sugar for a week and he'll be on his knees with flowers saying your right.

Ironically, something similar happened to me yesterday.
I brought it to the attention of my family member whose attache verbally assaulted me. It made me feel better to share my feelings with my family member, but I don't forsee anything changing. Most people are set in their ways, with preset prejudices that only they can overcome internally. Best you find someone else to talk to and avoid this cousin. On the other hand, I would definitely tell your husband you find the cousin offensive so as to avert any adverse reaction on his part when he observes you avoiding this person. If he understands why, at least you can count on him to support your decision even if he doesn't pinch hit with the cousin on your behalf.

If she is like this to you all the time, have a word with her and ask if anything is wrong. If she reacts the same way, consult your hubby to see if anything had gone on in the family that you two didn't know about.
If its a one time thing, let it go; it could have been a bad day, or something she mistook you saying.

Is she a young? (teenager?) If she's a teen, I'd just ignore it. If she's much older you might want to mention it to your husband. For example, you could say, "So-and-so seemed a little upset about something this weekend. Do you know if something is going on?"
