So what you propose is that we make it easier for conservatives to go on welfare when they are down and out but not liberals, is that it? Let us hear your solution to poverty in the US.

Make it easier for conservatives to get welfare? You do know that most people that get welfares are conservatives? Liberals are the ones who pay for that.

There are many laws and restrictions on welfare to keep abuse from happening. Clinton actually was the last to do this. In the 6 years of republican control, they didn't do any of that, so they must have thought it was okay where it is.

This is a dumb question.
Most people who apply for welfare are not active in making a political allegiance to Liberalism or Conservatism. Most of these people don't even bother to vote.
Instead of making asinine questions on yahoo why don't you run for office and change the laws?

I have to take a urine test every 6 months for my job, If I fail, I lose my job and all my benefits. The same standard should apply for public assistance.
