Or a pornstar cause when I think of Natalia I think of Toastie from F.O.L 2 whos Pornstar name was Natalia, why do certain names make us think of certain things?

Yes, when I think of the names Mrytle or Betty I do think of a old lady or with Mrytle like a seashell or that werid girl from that show Lilo and Stich my bros like to watch.

Strippers use Stage names that they choose themselves. They tend to pick trendy, flashy names - for some reason the names of Bratz dolls easily have this connection Cloe, Jade, Talia, Meygan, Tatiana.....I didn't notice this so much when I named my kids, one has Jade for a middle name and the other goes by Chloe.
For the other part of the question- Why certain names give us certain images - It is just how the brain works. You imprint an image in your head either from TV or personal experiences and then when you hear the name again the familiar image comes to mind. What do you think when you hear Myrtle or Betty? A little old lady right? That is what they always are on TV. You hear Maddison and probably think of a young girl not a 30 something woman. That is because it is associated with a common name of today and not the 70's. These are things to seriously consider when you name your own child because like it or not, they will be judged by their name.

Nope. I actually think of Nutella, the chocolate spread. Because it sounds pretty similar.
I like the name Natalie though. I know lots of people with that name so that definitely doesn't make me think of a stripper or pornstar because it's a pretty common un-exotic name.

When i hear the name Natalia, i think of the chick in the movie Hostel who sold Paxton to the Elite Hunters' club to be tortured/murdered. Other than that, i think it's a beautiful name, though.

Probably b/c it sounds a little exotic and when we hear something exotic the first thing that comes to mind is that the person is probably very sexual. For some reason people that are very sexual and comfortable with themselves can come off as "slutty" not b/c they are but b/c they make us feel uncomfortable and we can mistake being uncomfortable with being threatened.

i know exactly what you mean...
as you grow up or get older, you make friends, know people, hear of people, watch people on tv, and you whatever their name is, everyone you meet with the same name, you will familiarize the new person, with the main person you first knew/saw/heard of.
when i was 7 my mom was about to have a baby girl, and she wanted her to be named hannah, but i HATED the name because it reminded me of someone totally different. (she ended naming her hannah anyway lol)
but its power of suggestion -- your brain registers it with someone you knew before.
