My babys two months. She cryed from the time I took her home from the hospital. I had her on efamil changed her formula to similac soy.She had a hard time going to the bathroom. Gave her gas drops didn't help. Ended up at cooks hospital. They changed her formula again to the nutramigen. She quit crying. If u try it and it works its wonderful thats her 4th formula. It is not normal 4 them to cry all the time even if they r teething try some oral gel. Lots of the time they cry cause its there stomach. People told me it was colic gas all kinds of stuff. It was the formula. If u can afford it try the enfamil nutramigen it is expensive but to hear her not cry 20hrs a day is worth every penny.I changed it two weeks ago and no longer think I'm gonna go insane. They do cry but u can tell when there cryin cause somethings wrong it a mama thing. good luck I've been there.

My baby is a little older than yours but my daughter never cried. There are certain things you can do to help her. It might be colic (ask a doctor to be sure) Before you go to the doctor's, try "gas relief drops". You can get them at walmart. They will help if she is colic. Also, try lavendar lotion for baby's and bodywash. Lavendar works as soothing infants. Babies liked to be rocked and patted on their lower back. You can also try singing. I used Enfamil with Lipil formula and never once had a problem with spitting up. If she is teething, you can be "teething relief" it comes in a little tube and just rub it on her gums. if she bites on stuff alot and drools, she is prolly teething. I rapped up some icecubes (about 4 cubes) in a burp cloth and tied it tight with a secure hair thing or rubber band. She will love to teeth on that, she will prolly like that better than a reguale teething ring you refrigerate. There are also different ways to burp a child, try them all and see what one works best for you. At that age my daughter liked to be rapped up tight in a blanket to feel secure. If all else fails, talk to your doctor.

There is no cure for colic. One thing you can do to help ease her is hold her upright alot. Even when she sleeps. If you have an infant carseat, let her sleep in that for a while. My youngest had reflux and it seemed to help ease his tummy because gravity helped his digestion. Even letting her sleep in a bouncy seat or a swing that sits up good will help. Try the enfamil A.R. formula, it has added rice and it's supposed to make it easier to keep down. If none of that works then she may be allergic to milk like mine was and you have to buy the expensive formula Nutramagen (sp). Don't forget to talk to your doc about all that and make sure she isn't allergic to milk...good luck

I agree with the others, it could be anything from colic to teething to her formula- a trip to the ped might help, and as the other answer said- if you find yourself getting too aggrvated, then put her in her crib and let her cry (it won't hurt her to cry), and take a break (cup of coffee and read the paper in another room, for an example)

my daughter did the same thing, every kid is different, so it's trial and error. But here are some things to try: white noise, I used a hair dryer(no heat setting) that calmed her down straight away. Also the baby swing, the motion just seemed to be what she needed. Don't know if it was gas bubbles, teething or what, all I know is she just cried all the time, and these things helped her(and us!! ) I hope this helps, I know exactly what your going through, it's difficult when people have "easy babies" they just don't understand!

Have you been to your 3 month check up? If not, discuss it with her doctor; explain all the symptoms. He might say she has colic, she might be allergic to her formula which would make her tummy upset. All of these need to be discussed before you can get any good advice. If you just had your 3 month check up, make a new appt. and get her in. If you feel like you can't handle her crying, put her in her crib and get a short break...it can be really nerve wracking!

i have a 4mnth old, he did the same. the doctors told me it's probably colic, which could last up until 4mnths. lay your baby on it's back and raise the legs up in the air, you know like leg lifts. that will ease some of the gas off the stomach. try massaging the stomach too. your baby could be teething, my baby is teething, because he keeps his hands in his mouth and drools. the doctor says some babies teeth faster than others, so it could be that too. i hope that helps, good luck

she may be gassy/colic. I agree try using milicon drops, they may help. if she's fed and changed and just cries, try swaddling her up and rock her a bit. white noise can help calm a fussy baby try a shushing sound or run some water and rock her a bit. my daughter was a bit on the fussy side but now that she's five months, she doesn't fuss much, only when she's hungry...

its very normal for a baby to cry a lot but even at times no matter how hard it seems you"ll get over it in the future. Just stay positive for now, and if its hard for u try yo make the baby cheer up fing a toy that it loves or make a funny face, babies may be young but they also are smart to usually when they cry they want something done. try something to make her laugh and keep with it. I may be young but i know a lot about babies and what they secretly want

try Miclin drops (sp?) they are for gassy colicy babies. You may want to talk to your ped about switching formulas too to see if this helps.

She could be teething give her something cold like teething rings in the freezer and see if this will soothe her. They also sell all natural teething tabs which will come in handy in the long run.
