It's now well established that George W. Bush never showed up for National Guard duty for a period of approximately one year, possibly more, in 1972-1973. Despite all the talk about "honor and dignity," Bush seems to have a problem meeting his commitments.

"Those of us who were in the military wonder how it is that someone who is supposedly serving on active duty...can miss a whole year of service without even explaining where it went," said [Senator John] Kerry.

Bush says he's released all his records...if that's true, then has anyone seen:

Any pages from Bush's flight log
Records from the Flight Inquiry Board convened after Bush was suspended as a pilot
Any evidence of Bush's reclassification into another AFSC after suspension as a pilot
Any photos of George Bush in a military uniform after 1972
Anything at all from any Alabama unit with Bush's name on it
Any copies of form 44a from the Alabama National Guard certifying attendance
Air Force Form 142 (Aviation Service Audit Worksheet)
Anything proving service (not just receipt of pay) by Bush between May 1972 and May 1973?

Of COURSE it's true. I find it interesting that all your 'right wing' posters to this question have simply avoided anwering THE QUESTION, don't you? All they can do is quack about the dems and that evil Bill Clinton, damn his eyes for his 8 years of peace and a roaring economy!

Farenheit 911 even shows PICTURES of the different reports! How much evidence do people need? Are the bush lovers really in that much denial? Like stubborn children holding their breath, closing their eyes, an violently shaking their heads, "No, no, NO!"

a real sign of immaturity is call calling. bill Gates dodged the draft. John Wayne dodged the draft via claiming too many little ones. Mel Gibson went to Australia to ward off the draft. Sylvester Stallone had a artwork deferment, Abbie Hoffman Resisted the draft, Muhammad Ali refused to bypass. call those human beings cowards? His movements concerning Iraq have been set into action some years in the past. he's definitely in basic terms a member of an advert hoc committee. he's mentioned what to do. No guy could make all the alternatives you little ones provide him credit for. Cowardly movements? What are they. Why are you no longer in Iraq while you're so brave? i'm no longer an ardent Bush supporter yet i'm a supporter of clever verbal substitute and questions. As such yours does not bare help.

It's clear he did, except for those RW sycophants who refuse to see. The best the Bush apologists cold do during the campaign was repeatedly say, in response to, "Did he even show up?' is "He was honorably discharged". NON-SEQUITUR! That only shows how corrupt the Guard was for the sons of privilege.

Yes, from all the evidence I've heard and seen, he did indeed go AWOL. He received special treatment from the beginning to the end of his "service." Clinton may have gotten a college deferrment, but at least he "dodged" the war legally, without having to run to Daddy to fix his record.

No, I don't think he went AWOL, his daddy is much too well connected to let that happen. He just used his daddy's connections to get out of his duty. That's all.

All hail Tom Brokaw!

No and you're quoting Kerry? And you want anyone to listen? Did you dig deep into Clinton's non-military service as well, or didn't it matter then? Thought so.

1. There are tons of records missing from National Guard units, his is not the only ones that are incomplete.

2. If you are going to mention John Kerry you may as well mention Dan Rather's falsified report because nothing either of them says is believable.

Since he can't run again, isn't this all kind of moot at this point? I mean, do you have a reason anybody either for or against Bush should waste any time caring what the story is?

Seems to me you have a wookie there, no matter which way it goes.

You are sure digging up old dirt that has been dealt with than a deck of cards at Vagas.

Let me ask you this if military service is so important why do liberals like Clinton he "loath" the military.

Liberals voted for him over to real war time vets.

Go figure.
