Football world cup comes after 3 years.
Cricketer can hardly play 3 or 4 worldcup, then there age comes of retirement.
World cup is quiet interesting where whole teams in the world play
Dont u think it should be after every 2 years,

Since ICCChampions Trophy tournament is being played every two years, ICC consider that World cup should be played only every 4 years and have accordingly decided to conduct the world cup only once in 4 years.

I think your question has already been answered. But just to make 1 point clear, the football world cup does NOT ever come after 3 years...it always happens in gap of 4 years

you have got a point but cricket is full of exictment even without a world cup and worldcup is the main tournament in the cricketing world but we also have champions trophy right? so to keep the spirit and excitment of worldcup intact they keep it 4 years later.and if u ask me i think its wonderful!

a confusing wrestle yet finally the crew that performed that day gained. Sri Lankans are taking it way too heavily because they actually had a tremendous probability to win. trust me, each Indian respects and adores Malinga ( would nicely be his association with Mumbai Indians and Sachin Tendulkar, would nicely be the latter is the reason) yet that day we were by heart praying he fails a large time and thank God he listened to our gamers.
