You know, like Kidd+Carter or Tmac+Yao.

Stockton and Malone were the best, in my opinion, although they did not win a ring to put the icing on the cake...

Such a sad story...

Bill Russell and Sam Jones...won 10 rings together in 12 years with the Celtics (Jones came up a year after Russell).

Jones is a Hall of Famer and a top 50 player as well. He holds the record for most points scored in a 7th game (47, against Oscar Robertson), and had ESPN been around at that time, he'd be remembered as possibly the best clutch shooter ever.

Jones was 9-0 in game 7's, and averaged 27 pts per game in game 7's, compared to 17 ppg during the regular season.

Kidd and Carter haven't accomplished anything, and neither have TMac & Yao. And there's no evidence that they ever will accomplish anything either.

Jordan and Pippen were great together. But since Jordan never played on a winning team WITHOUT Scottie as his teammate, you have to give Magic and Kareem an edge over them.

Jordan played 5 NBA seasons without Pippen, and led his teams to five losing records, and was only 1-9 in the playoffs without Scottie. To be blunt, that sucks.

Conversely, both Kareem and Magic had winning records with or without each other, and each led his team to the finals without the other.

Pippen and Jordan. Well pretty much anyone with Jordan can be considered the best ever, but espically pippen cause he is truly an amazing player. OR Magic and Kareem because Magic was one of the best if not the best point guard to ever play the game.

I think stockton and molone were amazing but failed to win a ring so they defiantly cant be ahead of jordan and pippin or magic and kareem... and maybe even Kobe and Shaq are ahead of stockton and malone (Pretty much shaq has always been with an all-star guard though... i mean without wade he isnt anything and without kobe, he wouldnt be anything. and vis versa.)

I think it goes in order best first: Pippen and Jordan, Kareem and Magic, Stockton and Malone, Kobe and Shaq

There are two really good duo's.

1. Pippen/Jordan
2. Kobe/Shaq

Its too hard to pick just one. I think that these two are the best duo's ever in the NBA.

I think the best true duo, was Karl Malone and John Stockton. Followed by either Shaq and Kobe (when shaq was on the lakers) or Shaq and Wade (now).
