I'm sorry that you had a bad experience with vaccine. But how many other people that used it in 1976 got the same reaction? I feel that out of the thousands of people who get vaccinated only a very small percent get a negative reaction. I think the medical community has everything under control. There is no need to get all excited about something that hasn't happened yet. I've been taking flu shots for years & years & have never gotten any kind of reaction. Sure a bad reaction is not a wanted thing for anyone but take into consideration if no one takes it at all. Nobody would be protected and end result would be much worse. More people would get sick & die without protection. I say everyone should be vaccinated unless you have some sort of medical reason that you cannot be. Sorry but I totally disagree with you.

Vaccines have saved countless lives and saved billions of dollars by preventing all sorts of disease, especially among children. Some people have allergies and other rare reactions to these products, but by and large they are a great boon to mankind. Tetanus and smallpox come to mind.

I am skeptical of the site but, beyond that: Medical mistakes are not the same thing as "modern medicine" and certainly not analoagous to "vaccines".
