A couple of things first off. I played college and pro baseball, so I am somewhat of a crediable source. 1. You have to play good 2. go to as many pro tryouts in your area as possible, now until you are not allowed in, I think that is age 23. 3. How fast is 2nd fastest on your team, that could still be very slow; 60 yard dash times are what scouts go by, so get clocked and you will have a better understanding if you are fast or not. For a catcher, anything below 7.0 is good, and anything above 7.35 is not good. 4. If that is a true representation of your arm strength, then your have a very good pop time. But is that your average or your best? I would say probably that is your best, if in fact you are not lying. 5. How big of a kid are you? Are you through growing? Catcher's usually are big, there are exceptions, but very few(Pudge) the normal drafted or Division 1 catcher is about 6'2' 210 pds. That should help you get started, but I would suggest play good and go to as many open tryouts as possible

Check the college stats to see which schools have the best baseball teams and the most players in MLB. Apply to schools which will give you the best shot a being seen by a scout.
Meanwhile, keep you grades up. Two reasons: (1) no matter how good you are behind the plate -colleges still have admission standards. (2) If you happen to get injured, you can still use your brain to make a living. actually (3) If you do get signed for the BIG BUCKS you want to be able to supervise whoever is handling your money.

first off, congrats, it sounds like you have everything going for you
Well, if you are very serious, get into contact with some college coaches and start looking at what sort of program you would be intersested in (D1 D2). Do not strain yourself by playing other sports, and pay attention to grades. You do not have to be valedictiorian, but the coaches need to know you will not be any trouble. WORK, WORK, WORK. Make sure you stay in shape all year round and keep hitting in the cages and try to work with proffesionals. Don't worry too much however, enjoy life.

learn how to call a game and manage a game. Always work on ur defense and time to 2nd. Be a leader on the team, have the intangibles. And not to take away anything from your stats, but when i played my team had 2-3 kids that hit over .500....bcuz most coaches give hits on errors and fielders choice and stuff, maybe ur coach does or doesnt, i dont know. Besides tons of other kids are gonna put up good numbers, so 2 separate urself be a leader, call a good game, and work on ur defense

Sounds like you're a good athlete and have the tools. However, for some reason the 1.8 to the tag sounds B.S. Yadier Molina was supposed to have the best in the Bigs and I can't remember exactly what it was, but it seems it wasn't far off from that, hence my B.S. call.
I agree with the above person, get your education first and foremost.

always play your hardest. My high school baseball coach says that scouts could be at everygame. Just remeber warm ups are just as important as the game. Carry yourself well from the moment you get on that field. I friend of mine got recruited to maimi but couldn't play becasue of a busted knee
