I once had a '65 GTO so that's a no brainer.

I like them both. By the way the first GTO came out in 1963 as a 64. And last GTO came out in 2006. For the Charger, it came out in 1966 and stopped in 1974. For history check out Pontiac Historical Society and GM of Canada. For Mopars and Chargers try Galen Govier or Chrysler Registries.

The Dodge Charger was not produced until 1966.

69 ss camaro is the best muscle car. I'd take the charger. And check ebay for the oldest to newest

Personally I like the Charger.
I don't know of any encyclopedia car sites, but www.myhotcars.com has info related to many vintage cars
