She is lucky she didn't take a life. She got the minimum sentence and will probably not spend the whole two years in prison. My guess is six months in the big house and the rest on parole. I think this is fair because if she were let go, then it sends the message that it is ok to throw things at other drivers.

If the vehicles are moving like in this case yes it's a fair punishment, people should think about their actions; something like this could have caused a deadly accident.
She was also stupid by not making a deal with the court while she could, but some people just don't want to take responsibility of their actions. She must be thankful no-one died or she would be facing more years in jail.

Yep. Sorry, it is not acceptable in any way to be tossing anything at another car/driver. This is dangerous and malicious. If you cannot control your anger, you should not be driving. This could have cause irreparable harm to the driver/passengers of the other vehicle. This woman has serious psych issues if her method of dealing with a driving problem is to throw a cup of ice into another car.

Yes. She intended to assault the people in the car. She threw a projectile into another moving vehicle. People must take responsibility for their actions. Also, road rage is dangerous and should not be tolerated. However, I do think this woman needed a better lawyer. I can't imagine why she wouldn't just take a plea.

Yep.
She threw that cup of ice at someone (or actually their car) for retaliation for something. It was not meant as a joke. It was not meant as a prank. It was with malicious intent. Was she trying to hurt or kill the other person? No, I do not think so, but it does sound like she wanted to cause a little bit of damage to that person's car.
