First of all, Son, I never pray for my own selfish needs or to go to heaven. Praying is not a commandment....I pray because I need to talk with God. Maybe I talk to God about you and your judgemental thinking! I am who I am because I believe in God's plans for me and Salvation. Would you give your only son to rid me of my sin? God did. Would you give me free-will after telling me to obey? God did! This space is not big enough to get any deeper into your question. Through the Grace of God I will go to heaven....not because I am a goody-two shoes. God is not a punishing God...He is a forgiving God. You leave out too many factors when you ask generalized questions. You only ask to incite Christians. I will pray for your mis-guidance's tonight....Bless you! Part 2/ Yes, heaven or no heaven I am who I am...a giving person/ a forgiving person and a believer that God created man in His own image. I am a better person because I believe. My body will be cremated and my soul with go to God whether He is in Heaven or on a journey. My soul goes to God.

I try not to pray for my selfish needs. It is my belief that one should do good works because one has an ardent desire to do what is good. God does not force us to do what is right or good. If I get to heaven, it will be based on the mercy of God and only partly on my righteous deeds.

You should stop thinking from your read end. You don't pray to god for your selfish reasons to get into heaven but pray for what he has already done for you.

I wouldn't pray for something as please let me in heaven. I mainly pray for help with my weakness and that I pray that I am humble to others. I don't do good deeds to get into heaven, I do them to help other people. :3
