I have found that to spend a full day doing everything you would normally do with shoes on feels exceptional barefoot. All the sensory feelings you can experience is unbelievable. I started walking barefoot almost full time over 6 months ago and dread the thought of wearing shoes. What if I told you that from now on you had to wear gloves every time you leave the house thus depriving you of all that you touch and feel. Its kinda like that.

I am barefoot pretty much 24/7.
Obviously, sex is best done barefoot. Why wear socks?
But, seriously, I really enjoy doing my yardwork and gardening barefoot. Being barefoot in the soil just seems so right -- so perfectly natural. I used to wear work boots and such -- what a fool I was for so many years.
I live where we get tons of snow. So I also like to spend time in the snow barefoot. yep, it's cold but tons of fun when you know your limits. For example, cleaning snow off of the car barefoot means you never get snow in your boots. I also shovel the walk and the driveway barefoot and fetch the mail and newspaper barefoot in the snow.

Most things do. Oddly enough, probably the one I've activity where I've inexplicably found the greatest difference is volleyball. It's not just the location; I'll enjoy other activities more when barefoot in sand or grass, but not to the same extent.
