Jordan is Jordan and Kobe is Kobe. This question is clearly aimed to start a Kobe HATE fest. OBVIOUSLY Kobe isn't better than Jordan. Why? because of the 6 Championships that Jordan has. And no Jordan didn't have weaker teams that he was winning championships with. Pippen was on the dream team and considered to be one of the best all time at his position. Kobe had Shaq the same thing. This isn't a fair question to ask i am a Kobe fan but even i know who the best player of all time is. MJ is clearly the best SO FAR can Kobe get there?? I happen to believe that he can! Was MJ a ballhog?? YES!!! i hate that some of the answers on here keep saying that Kobe is inferior because he hogs the ball and doesn't share it! MJ was KNOWN and dissliked FOR THE SAME REASON!! Give Kobe a break and don't ask stupid questions!

Are you kidding me? The only time you should ask this question is when Kobe accomplishes the same stats as Jordan. Kobe can slam dunk and shoot the ball well, but he's still has a long road ahead to accomplish what Jordan did. Jordan will always be known for turning the NBA around when he retired the 1st time. The guy was born a champion. Even when he was sick in the playoffs against the Utah Jazz, he outperformed everybody. Kobe just thinks he's the next Jordan, but he should get away from that. It's can't be touched.

I think that Jordan is better than Kobe because Jordan is better known than Kobe and he is considered one of the best (possibly the best) players in the NBA.

We do not know because we are judging someone who is halfway through his career and someone who is retired. But if I where to take someone if Kobe retired right know I would take Jordan cause Jordan 6 champoinships
Kobe 2,3 I do not remember but Jordan right know but I think when Kobe retires I think he will be the better player

Although Kobe is on the rise...Jordan is still the better player and a better leader at that...He is even respected by fans of the team he is playing against...

jordan with out a doubt. too win 6 championships is unreal. but to do it with little help is amazing.. kobe won because he had the most dominant center of league at that time. without shaq kobe would just be another good player.. why would you even ask this question..

Jordan...best ever with 6 NBA championships...I think Kobe and Dwayne Wade could make a case for #2...I think LeBron is totally overrated...Good, but jeesh, he's no Jordan...
