lol i knoe hurley lol...thats funni, well its a show so maybe in real life they didnt have time for him to lose weight lol.
i unno hes weird.
sometimes its hard...english is the hardest langauge to learn!!!

ROFLMAO at # 3 just like all the Mexican's that have illegally come to America, learn the language!
#1. Makes sense, he should have lost some weight, especially how much he sweats but for a while he was eating all the food they had secretly stashed from the hatch, but still, I see your point.
2. Desmond calls everyone "brother" because that's what they call people in Australia. It's slang.

4. Claire had her baby while she was on the island remember? the others took her and did experiments etc. then she had the baby while running through the woods with Charlie.

It's a TV show. You are required to use your imagination.
Hurley was the one that found, and hoarded, the food from the hatch.
Desmond is of Irish descent. "Brother" for him is like a surfer calling you "dude".
Could you learn English in 60 days?
Claire didn't have the baby until they had been on the island several weeks.

3.They haven't had the opportunity to sit down and teach him english, but Jin appears to be picking some up
4.Claire's child was born days if not weeks after they crashed so its still a newborn.
