Yeah.. they're soooo tiring. What we need are more questions like:
"Does anyone else think that Lukas Rossi should not be the lead singer for Supernova?"
Wow, I feel so energized just having quoted it!

Because:
"It is not skeptics or explorers, but fanatics and ideologues who menace decency and progress. No agnostic ever burned anyone at the stake or tortured a pagan, a heretic, or an unbeliever."

I don't think that they are worried about us having beliefs that they don't. I think they could care less what anyone else believes, they are just tired of having religion shoved down their throats. I mean think about it..jehovah's witnesses go all over town knocking on peoples doors trying to get you to believe what they believe, every where you go people are trying to convert you to their religion ot beliefs. Can you imagine if athiests ran around knocking on peoples doors asking you to be athiest. Or if they put commercials on t.v. about athiesm. People would be irate! FYI: I am catholic but I can see their point..I don't worship the devil so If everytime I stepped outside people were shoving satanism down my throat I think I would get tired of it too!

People can have passionate beliefs either in the existence or the non-existence of something, God, UFOs or whatever. Beliefs can be a defining part of self and so some will argue about almost anything.

Because when a mass of people believe in fairy-tales and try to fashion the world around them to believe it, too, they jeopordize mankind's ability to move forward and advance. Hence the reason why so many fundamental Christians are Conservatives.

Would I worry if a person standing on a roof "thought", or "believed" or "had revealed in a vision" that they could fly? Of course I would. I care about people.
