yeah, when my dad died I just sat there stone cold, simply because to really cry would mean he is gone, and I just wasn't ready to accept that.

I was a Confederate officer in the war.I had a dream when I was six of being a man in tent at a folding table, I could see the battle flag on a pole from my folding chair.with Grey uniformed men coming in, etc.I do not remember how ever dieing or then leaving my body and coming to my own funeral.I do not think I would enjoy that much.

I am a very emotional type person .I would only cry for the dead family and friends and fellow soldiers not for my self, since I would miss them, I would assume their going to a better place. In my fathers house or many mansions, Jesus said. I am eternal and like an adventure.so I would be glad to go on from this world.I am totally ready to go on any time The Lord calls me.

I stayed with Mother for nine months alone helping her till she died of cancer,it was horrible, I still cry sometimes and its been ten years.I miss all my family members and friends that have passed on.

Peace.

I cry at other peoples' problems more than my own. My death won't be a problem but the dying might hurt a lot.

I would totally cry at my own funeral. How dare you assume that I wouldn't!

I do too. I also cry at all weddings. I think those are such pivotal moments in people's lives. Its just too bad that there aren't more sensitive and caring people in this world.

I have not been to my own funeral yet. Hence, I can write this message because I am still alive.

Everyone in my family is alive, grandparents, aunts, uncles, parents, siblings, cousins, EVERYONE.

Is it that bad? I better buy some tissues before someone dies.

If you're dead, you're not about to cry at your own funeral.

it's not your funeral if you're not dead.
I don't think I'll be crying at my own funeral, though.
