Visible light is the only part of the spectrum that the human eye can see. The wavelength of light ranges from 380 nm to 750 nm. Color is our response to the stimulation of energy at those wavelengths. In the visible light spectrum, there are seven distinct colors that the human eye can identify. They are violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange, and red. The wavelengths of all these colors are different. The colors with larger wavelengths have a lower level of energy.
Blue is on the strong end of the light spectrum, and it has a wavelength of 480nm to 460nm.
Violet has a wavelength of 430nm to 390nm
Red has a wavelength of 750nm to 650nm
Purple has a wavelength ranging from 450nm to 390nm
Yellow has a wavelength of 580nm to 550nm
Orange has a wavelength of 640nm to 590nm

The lowest color the human eye can see is red which has the longest wavelength. Shorter wavelength light exists as infrared but can not be seen, only felt. The shortest wavelength we can see is blue-violet. Above that is utraviolet which, again, we can not see but which causes sunburn.

you mean frequency waves of photons. Can we see and comprehend ultra violet or infra red light - with aide of tools we can. So past blue is in the lowest ultra violet and above red is the high infra red of the light spectrum Now where does radio waves & X-rays and human thought fit in on these frequencies waves?
