Hell No. Its still alive and kicking, just a slight lull. System of a Down, Type o Negative, Monster Magnet are all going strong. Check out my bio for some of my favorite bands, I think you'll find some stuff you might not have heard of. Check 'em out, they all rock.

Sadly it does seem to be fading away. The new generation of music sucks too. ( Well most of it does...) I want Heavy Metal Back!!!!!!!!!!
I will always listen to metal anyway.
