you're able to rig a perpendicular piece help between the rafters, a pair of two x 4's will paintings if the rafters are sturdy and robust. could upload greater help if rafters greater desirable than sixteen" on middle. use a O ring ended screw or bolt(sufficiently massive, in a position to help the burden)to hold the attachment (chain) on the bag and long adequate to run up for the time of the ceiling and into the wood bracing you place in. utilising screws would be appropriate in case the full rigging isn't wanted sooner or later, and can be much less complicated to do away with than with nails. attempt to maintain it remote from wall contacts to shrink any possibility of wall harm.

if there is loft space above the bedroom ceiling, go up there and find out where the ceiling joists are and put a 2"X4" pieceof timber across the joists in the other direction. then hang your bag of off this (to spread the weight)

It needs to be wrapped round a structural beam! if they are visable no problem, if you have plastered cielings the only way to do it is to take down part of the plaster, tie rope round the beam and then fix the plaster work afterwords!

i think the best way is to put krazy glue on a midgets feet and hang him upside down on the ceiling. then he can just hold the bag for you when you want to punch it. it seems to work on the commercial.

You need to bolt it directly to the roof rafters. If it in your garage it should be really easy. In a room, not sure.
