In UK most people are Queen dependent.
Doesn't they know what it means the word "republic"?
Does they now how many people died fighting for a republic in Spain?

Why the British Queen is so important? In a normal world people would say : "Who care about them?".
But now the top story is: "Prince Harry In Iraq".
Why no govarnament wants to remove the monarchy?
They are rich from the money of the poor.
This is a shame, don't you agree?

And the thing that monarchy in UK is constitutional monarchy does not means that this is "acceptable".Because they don't respect the thing called republic.Don't you agree?
And the Queen decorated the murderers of "Bloody Sunday", who killed innocent protesters.
State-capitalist Stalinist and nationalist dictator Nicolae Ceausescu was also praised by the Queen.

The royal family has no power in England anymore. While they still have their land and money, they are now just figure head positions. People still pay attention because of tradition, heritage and celebrity. For that matter why do we care what George Clooney or any other stars have to say. Someday the royal family will probably fade away in England, but as long as people love celebrities, they will command attention.

I will assume that English is not your first language. It would be; "Do they know?" Next you can't be a Capitalist and be a Stalinist. Stalin was a Fascist and a Communist.
He was more a Fascist and less a true Communist.
That being said The reason behind the Monarchy is to give a view point that is not hindered by having to be elected. When, as in the USA where I am from, you have a President who has to worry about being elected then you must always take a viewpoint that aligns with who ever is donating to your campaign.
It is not necessarily the viewpoint of the people but big business. Also many times the people are wrong about a concept. The common man is not always well educated or even all that smart. If they were they would not care about Brittany Spears cutting her hair.Certainly this is of no importance. The Monarchy can take a longer view of where things are going. Especially if they do not have total power which of course corrupts. To be able to surmize things from a comfortable viewpoint of not concerning yourself wether it is popular does give one an advantage in decision making.
On the other hand if like Queen Elizabeth II you do not go out among the people and see what is going on; and I do mean the world in general and you do not spend time personaly visiting Darfur and other Countries your perspective becomes old and stale. You become obsolete as the Monarchy has become. Prince Charles gets a bad rap a lot of times because he did not stay true to Diana. But I have heard him speak and he is quite wise. Still I think they deffinately need to get out of the The house so to speak and rub elbows with the rest of mankind. Spending your time with Earls and Dukes is not very productive. It is also a big waste of money to the British tax payer to support these people in a life style of that granduer. The President of the United States only makes 450,000. dollars a year. Compared to the money CEO's make it is VP money. Considering wether you like him or not ( I for one don't agree with him) He still has to work hard for his money.
The United States is a Federation of States to form a Democratic Republic. We vote for representative who vote the way we hope they will. We also vote on initiatives. There is no Monarchy. In some ways this is great. But there is also not a long range perspective. Our education lacks skills in the arts and in History. We tend to have a lack of cultural understanding of others from other countries. On the otherhand many people from all around the world live here. So we learn from them. There are many Cubans and Puerto Ricans on the east coast. There are many Mexicans on the West Coast. There are Chinese Japanese,Koreans, Australians,Italians,French,Germans,Polish,Jews,Blacks and Muslims. So we are a diverse nation. We have all religions.
I think that the British have always had a monarchy and that it has never taken advantage of it's people in modern times. If it had they likely would have ended up like the Czar and their family in Russia. Don't forget they were related to each other. Monarchy is heavily in bred.

Hi
I would think the british monarchy are a good sales ambassadors for the UK. As far as I can tell they will be around for along time, longer than mr and mrs beckham.
They know how to behave (although dont always do it) and they have the ways and means to entertain on any scale to any person on the planet.
In short, no body can do what they do. Does anyone turn DOWN an invitation from The Queen, not likely there could be a knighthood in it.
So-Long old chap I'm off for tea at 'Buck Hise'.

It's not as if the British people can't vote for a Republic if they wanted too.??? The UK has a parliamentary democracy with the monarch as the constitutional head of state. Stupid Internet trolls forget this. If the public didn't want the Monarchy (there ain't nothing stopping 'em), can easily vote for a republican or a communist party or similar instead, or whomever they so wish.......Hello.!!!! Just make sure ya don't get a Bush or a Cheney or a Mitch McConnell ...???? Heaven forbid.

Being from Hawaii, the only place in the US that housed a monarchy...I understand the loyalty to the royalty...hey that rhymed....it's a matter of respecting your ancestors who were the monarchies peeps....all the turmoil happened in the past, and like HI the descendants of the royal family is now taking care of it's peeps...what happened a long time ago was how things were done during that period of time, that's why it is called a monarchy and that's why they no longer are in power...

you have overlooked something, the british queen is a prisoner of her own ministers who have enslaved the whole of the british isles under european domination, so the people and the queen are captured without firing a shot.the british do not wish to be a part of the united states of europe, yet to cheat us out of our own country tony blair has brought in thousands of immigrants from east europe who he will give the vote to knowing they will vote to stay in europe, its like bush bringing a foreign army in america to force you all to surrender to a foreign land. britain has had thirty six years of treason.the queen is to scared to speak the truth.
i would have her send the troops in and sort it out, we are sick to death of it, its like having 600 queens all serving their own interest.
