I have to move my 360 to my bedroom to download any internet content and I want to hook it up to my monitor. I have a "DVI in" and a "RGB in" on the monitor.

Also is it possible to get sound working from my pc speakers with the 360 or not? Thanks!!

You can buy the Xbox 360 VGA HD AV cable. If your computer has a DVI output, use the DVI input on your monitor for your PC and the "RGB" (VGA) input for your Xbox. Note that this option allows you to play games in HD if you don't already have that capability

For your sound question, you can get an AV switch (or just an audio switch) and a couple of converters (RCA phono plugs to stereo connection). You can run your PC to one of the inputs and your Xbox 360 to another and wire the output to your PC speakers.

If this is just a temporary thing, then you can just buy a stereo jack coupler (a stick with a headphone jack on both ends), and a phono-stereo converter (RCA female-Stereo male) and connect that directly to your PC speakers.

that monitor and pretty much all other newer monitors have HDMI input on them. So all you need is an hdmi cable for your xbox. You can get one on amazon for like 6 bucks.
