We have had a high electric bill. Does my computer screen jiggling and noise in my headset have anything to do with our electric bill? I have had electricians and heating people out here too, but wanted to know about the voltage. Thanks!

What do you live near? I lived near an a military high intensity radar installation (called DEW line) while working in Alaska one summer. Approximately every 40 seconds the TV would jiggle, any speakers would make hum due to the high energy put out by the radar.

If you get that noise in your headset regardless even if the headset isn't plugged into anything - you aren't experiencing in-line electrical noise.

Check out your surroundings.

That is called a voltage spike or power surge. Make sure you have all of your sensitive items (tv's dvd players, vcr's, computers, printers) to a surge protector. You will thank yourself in the end.
