My state is the best state to live in because it is the only state that has separate legal rights from the rest of the United States. Very few people are aware of this and I'd like to keep it that way.

As for England all I have seen is Portsmouth and London so my experience there is rather limited but I would opt for more rural itenary.

Define "best."

Personally, I think southern Utah has one of the most fantastic landscapes in the country. Parts of Arizona and California have wonderful climates. Nevada, perhaps, has the most freedom. Of the places I've been too, Kalispell, Montana is one of the friendliest towns. Many people would say New York City is the best city in the world (never been there myself).

Never been across the pond either.

Check this "Best Places" site for some suggestions -- I guess it depends on what you mean by "best"!
