Because we like sharing the misery!! LOL! Besides, it's funny to see their faces react to the bad taste or smell.

so that the other person can have a taste/smell! its just natural...if we say 'eww, this smells nasty!' automatically the other person would want to smell it, out of curiosity!

I do it because people need to experience the nastiness themselves so it is instilled in their brain not to ever get it.
