Its not Ponch Villa, it's Pancho Villa LOL.

The reason is that Americans know who Pancho Villa is, while mexicans have no ida who the Hannigan Brothers are.

Who knows. Just a detail. Pancho Villa fought in the 1910-1920 Mexican Civil War; he did not fight in the Mexican War (1846-1848) between the US.A. and Mexico.

Villa attacked the USA because he got upset for recognition by the USA of a government led by his enemies.

On the other hand, Lincoln has a monument in Mexico City.

I don't know the details on this statue, but you can look them up. I interviewed Mrs. Pancho Villa in Chihuahua City about a year before she died. She was the only 'legal' wife Pancho had. One of the greatest honors of her life was this statue on American soil. Tucson has more of a racial mixture. You'd never find this statue in Scottsdale.
