You can increase the download and buffer speed by removing all other phones or devices from the phone system in you home while you are downloading. Also, try another Internet Access number.
On your computer, click on Tools, Internet Options, and then delete Temp. Internet files and cookies.
Restart computer just before download.
Check your computer for viruses and spy ware using AVG free virus and the Yahoo tool bar Spyware scan. You can only have one virus detection program running at the same time.
Right click and exit unnecessary programs running in the systems tray at bottom right of screen.
Do Disk Cleanup and Disk Defragmenter of hard drive. Left click Start, All programs, Accessories, and Systems tools to locate these tools.
Add additional memory to your computer.

Since YouTube hit it big, streaming movies and music have gone positively bananas. But such online media has a major flaw: You can't download it to your desktop and save it forever. However, here's how you can download streamed-media offerings of various types.
Record flash-based video (like YouTube and Google Video files) with KeepVid.com (http://keepvid.com/). Just enter the video's URL, and KeepVid converts it into an FLV file you can download. To play the file, use software such as VLC (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/). Better yet, convert the video to an .avi, .mov, or .mp4 file by visiting the FLV Online Converter (http://vixy.net/). These sites and programs are free.

Add some more RAM. Get a better Video card with more on board memory. Also, if you doenload the videos first then play off your machine it should be faster. Hope this helps.

To make all the above, which are all correct, easy. Get Advanced Windows Care.
That'll do it all for you. Good programme. The free trail is usually enough.
