Yes I've waxed my legs before, no it doesn't really hurt, just a quick pinch.

For me, it doesn't really hurt as much as they make it out to be. The actual removing part doesn't really hurt because it happens really fast. The moments of discomfort right after doesn't really bother me. Nothing a little rubbing won't take care of. After it's all done, the legs will feel a bit raw. Just rub some oil or lotion on them.
I suppose if it's the first time and you don't know what to expect, then you might get all nervous and anxious. Find a place on your leg with thin hair and try it first to get get some idea what it's going to be like. Don't get all squeamish and pull slowly. That will just make it hurt more. Do it fast and don't look back. If you are using one of those waxes or waxing strips you buy from the drug store, make sure you follow the instructions. You don't want the wax sticking to your skin. That would hurt.

It hurts the first couple of times, until the hair becomes finer and grows in less. The reason it hurts there so much is because the hair is thicker than any where else on the leg, the shin area is very painful. Remember no pain no gain. Take Tylenol before hand and you should be ok.

It really depends on your tolerance of pain. I thought it was pretty painful the first time I got it done, but the second time around it just wasn’t as bad.
